I had a contact with an agent in Cartagena, who would do the import papers for my bike. I learned from other world travelers, that it is worth to pay the money to do some professionals with the right connections to get your bike ready to roll.
I received from that agent, a link to the website of the shipping company and could see exactly every hour where the ship was. So much for modern technology. Great!!
Ship arrived at 4:00 AM in the morning. I met with the agent at 8:00 AM and around 11:00 I was out of customs and riding. Felt great!!
